Very Rev. Msgr. Rufus Pius Lean is a distinguished diocesan priest of the Diocese of Neyyattinkara, Kerala. Born on 5th May 1951 and ordained to the holy priesthood on 19th December 1974, he has dedicated over five decades of his life to the service of God and His people.
He currently serves as Diocesan Co-Ordinator for Ministries, as Parish Priest of Christ the King Forane Church, Nedumangad, and as Manager of Silver Jubilee Law College — carrying forward his lifelong dedication to pastoral leadership, education, and service to the Diocese.
Msgr. Lean is closely associated with Asha Sadan and the Jeevan Jyothy Centre for Excellence, both located in Aryanad, Kerala — institutions that reflect his deep commitment to education, social welfare, and spiritual formation.
On the occasion of his 75th Birthday in May 2026, the faithful gathered in joyful celebration to honour a life richly lived in faith, humility, and priestly dedication.
